Chris Johnson

Chris was born in Southwest Virginia and has lived in the New River Valley for over 25 years. Since graduating from Virginia Tech in 2000, providing outstanding customer service has been his priority. The majority of his career has been spent as a REALTOR, and prior to that, a mortgage professional. Chris’ can-do attitude, responsiveness, and mortgage knowledge make him a valuable asset to his clients and RE/MAX 8. Chris recently retired after completing his 9th season as Head Wrestling Coach at Blacksburg High School. Previously, Chris served as an Assistant Coach for 10 years to the 17-time state champion Christiansburg Wrestling Team, and has served as a volunteer coach for local rec League football, wrestling and baseball. He is also a 2009 National Champion Jet Ski Racer, and loves spending time at Claytor Lake with his family. Chris also enjoys hunting and playing golf, with wife Rachel and stepson Adam as frequent partners.
